Jasmine Ella @villageobsessions is a fibre artist whose passion for macramé and texture began in 2019 and has grown to creating wearable pieces and having huge success in the 2024 Rise to the Runway!

Jasmine creates her own patterns to transform her materials into breath-taking sculptural forms. Her AWAF 2025 entry is bringing her new challenges, both in design and construction. Using the ocean and the moon as her inspiration Jessica will capture the mesmerizing connection between the moon and ocean tides through intricate knots, flowing waves, and celestial elements. Think wave like designs, with each wave uniquely shaped, some curling, others flowing freely…Jasmine’s innovative approach will bend traditional macramé into dynamic, sculptural movement, embodying the ever-changing dance between sea and sky.
